Klet Krsko Cvicek 2019 10% ptp. A blend of Kdraljevina with 7%Modra Frankinja. A traditionally light bodied tight tart, leanish bodied wine made for every day consumption in place of poor quality water. 14.5/20

Klet Krsko Zeleni Silvanec 2019 12% This Silvaner Riesling is sourced from the coops own vineyards. Offering fresh flower stem aromas, with rounded textures, fruity flavors and a crisp finish. An especially nice texture to it.  15/20  

Klet Krsko Zeleni Silvanec 2018 12.5% This Silvaner Riesling is produced in old oak and kept undisturbed on fine lees until March. This is much more complex comparatively: fruitier aromas, with a rounded, fleshy, slick texture, and smart acidity. 16/20 

Klet Krsko Premium Sauvignon Blanc 2018 12.5% Grapes are sourced from coop and monastery owned vineyards. This is a bright spicy style of sauvignon with dried herbal aromas, dense texture and a smooth, clean finish. I like the reasonably defined 12.5% alcohol.  16/20 

Krsko Modri Frankinja 2016 12.5% I liked this Blaufrankisch’s transparently, bright red colors. Full of enticing floral, brambly red berry/ strawberry aromas. Quite wild, interesting aromas. Silky on entry into the mouth, well rounded and continuous with good length of flavor, fine tannins delivering up a soft, silky finish. 17/20   

Late harvest Sauvignon Blanc dessert styles

Klet Krsko Sauvignon Blanc 2009 10% This intensely sweet late harvested, TBA level wine has 250 grams of residual sugar. Just a touch of volatile acidity’s toastiness adds spice and lift to honeyed Sauvignon aromas and flavors. Deeply viscous, but avoids being cloying with superb acid cutting through a clean elegant finish. 250eu a bottle but worth it! 19.5/20

Klet Krsko Sauvignon Blanc 2005 Late harvested as above with darker colors. Heavy toasted honeyed botrytis shaped Sauvignon aromas with stone fruit conserve and treacle flavors. Finely viscous with fresh acidity to balance.  17/20

 Klet Krsko Sauvignon Blanc 2003 8% Even more intensely sweet, this late harvested, TBA level wine has 300gm residual sugar of residual sugar. Honeyed-toasted botrytised spicy Sauvignon aromas, carry on through a deeply viscous texture overpowering what is no doubt a fair amount of acidity. Fat and richly luscious texture.  18.5/20

Klet Krsko Sauvignon Blanc Ice Wine 2003 Harvested from frozen grapes, soft, deeply viscous texture and clean acidity. Aromas are more purely about the grape then botrytised characters. 17/20
