Poljsak Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Really interesting, distinctive, leafy black currant aromas. Quite pure varietal characters. Ripely fruited, the wine has a lovely structure, fine and clean textured with a lively, but sappy acidity. There’s a degree of elegance and refinement here. A great accompaniment to the second movement of Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto. 17/20

Poljsak Opus Red 2018 14% A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Tannat, Carménère, Syrah and Marselan. Bursting with Black and Red fruit and dried tomato aromas with hints of oak barrel notes. Especially pleasing Cabernet Sauvignon leafy florals popping though the top of all that. Concentrated, complex and persistent in the mouth. A really well balanced, thoughtfully structured wine with a mix of powdery middle mouth and end of mouth fine tannins. 17.5/20
