Pullus Sauvignon Blanc 1986 11.8%, A late harvested wine with a bright, reflective, deep yellow color and a relatively low 13 grams of residual sugar. Wow, what a wonderfully complex nose with hints of tinned green bean/ sweet pea and shades of butter and straw. An incredible texture, polished glass-like, slick and smooth and viscous with a refreshing lemony acidity underpinning a long melt-away finish. Not a hint of oxidation, so elegant and fresh for its age, a classic example of the best from the past. 18.5/20

Pullus Sauvignon Blanc 1970 Bright reflective yellow --luminous almost. Much sweeter than the 1986, with 28 grams residual sugar amplified by less acidity. A touch of toasted botrytis and roasted nut aromas initially but with airing this shows more Sauvignon-like fresher herb notes. Still deliciously fresh and juicy for its age. Well balanced acidity to sweetness. 16/20
